    Santiago also serves Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. Applicants outside Chile should ask about consular days rather than assuming a trip to Santiago, and should confirm which authority in their own country issues the equivalent police certificate.

    Santiago works to a six-month recency window on civil-status documents and expects translation into Croatian by a translator on the Croatian court register.
