We Handle the Complexity. You Claim Your Heritage.

Croatian citizenship by descent involves navigating foreign archives, legal forms in Croatian, certified translations, and months of correspondence with government offices. We have done this hundreds of times. Let us do it for you.

warningThe DIY Reality

Why most people get stuck — or give up

language

All Croatian government correspondence and forms are in Croatian. A single mistranslated field is grounds for rejection.

search

Records from the 1800s and early 1900s are scattered across parish archives, municipal offices, and emigration records in multiple countries.

schedule

Without knowing exactly what MUP needs, applicants spend months gathering the wrong documents — then have to start over.

public

Translation costs in the US, UK, and Australia are typically 3–5× higher than working with a Croatian-based translator directly.

Translations: why ours cost less

Certified translation in the US, UK, or Australia can cost 80–150 € per page through a local agency. Our translators are court-certified and based in Zagreb, Croatia — so you pay European market rates (from 30 €/page) without any quality trade-off. Documents certified in Croatia are accepted directly by MUP with no further legalisation required.

Processing can take months. We monitor your application, follow up with MUP regularly, and keep you updated — so you never have to wonder what is happening.

flagAfter Approval

Citizenship is just the beginning.
We stay with you after.

Once your citizenship is approved, there is still work to do before you can hold a Croatian passport. For clients on our Full Representation plan, we handle all of it.

Croatian law requires every new citizen to be entered into the Book of Births (Matična knjiga) in the municipality of their ancestor's birth. Without this registration, you cannot apply for a passport. We know exactly how to handle this — including for ancestors from towns that are now in Bosnia, Serbia, or other successor states.
