Q1Why don’t you offer a free consultation?

A free consultation is a sales call. The person on it is paid to convert you, which is why it is free and why it ends with a quote rather than an answer.

Ours is paid so that we can tell you no. The Case Review ends with a written opinion on your line, a document checklist and a cost estimate, and it is yours to keep, take elsewhere or use on your own.

If you go ahead with Guided Submission or Full Representation, the whole review fee is credited, so the review is free for everyone who becomes a client. If it finds no line, you have paid 150 € to learn that before spending a thousand or more on records, translations, fees and a package for a case that would not be approved. That is the review doing its job.

Q2Are state and embassy fees included?

No. Government fees (state, embassy, apostille) are charged separately at cost. We never mark them up and we tell you the amounts before you pay anything.

Q3Why does Full Representation have two prices?

At 1500 € you pay for certified translations separately, at 30 € per page; we still coordinate them with our court-certified translators in Zagreb. At 1900 € every certified translation your file needs is included, however many pages it runs to, and so is courier delivery of the hard copies to you by DHL or a similar carrier, for up to two shipments.

Choose the higher price if you want one fixed number with nothing added per page or per parcel. Everything else in the package is identical.

Q4Do you retrieve records from Croatian archives?

With Full Representation, yes: locating and retrieving the Croatian records is part of the fee. With Case Review or Guided Submission you request them yourself using the action plan, or add retrieval as an add-on from 120 €.

Records issued in your home country, and their apostilles, can only be obtained there, so those are yours in every package.

Q5What if the application is refused?

We only take cases we believe have a sound legal basis, and the review is where that is decided. If the review finds no line to work with, we say so in writing and you stop there: no records, no translations, no consular fee and no package spent on a case that would not be approved.

If the Ministry refuses a file we prepared, we review the grounds and advise on next steps at no charge.

Q6Is it cheaper when several of us apply?

Yes. From 2 applicants descending from the same ancestor, the line research, the archive retrieval and most of the Croatian records are shared, so we build a family package instead of charging a full package each. The more of the file is common, the larger the reduction.

We quote it once we know who is applying and how you are related, because that is what decides how much of the work is shared. Tell us on the contact form and we come back with a written figure.

Q7What if my case does not fit any of the three packages?

Then we price it for what it actually needs. A particular status, a line that runs through several countries, an old registration or a refusal already on file — those are quoted individually rather than forced into a package.

The quote is a fixed figure in writing before any work starts, with the same rule as the packages: third-party costs are listed separately and passed through at cost.

Q8Can I start small and upgrade?

Yes. Start with Case Review or Guided Submission; if you later want Full Representation, everything already paid is credited against the higher fee.

Q9How do I pay?

By card online, processed by Stripe, or by bank transfer. Tell us which package you want through the contact form and we send an invoice; nothing is charged until you have confirmed.

You receive an invoice for every service you buy, including add-ons and translations, so there is always a document for what you paid.

Q10Does a package shorten the Ministry’s timeline?

No package can. Preparation moves faster with help; the Ministry’s review and consular waiting times are set by the authorities.
